Studies show that children who participate in the Arts on a continuous and sequential basis are more likely to be:
• Recognized for academic achievement
• Assume leadership positions
• Be involved in their community
• Develop a positive work ethic and pride in what they do

The Arts inspire creativity and discovery, provoke thought and opinion, increase awareness, self-confidence and self-discipline, and encourage children to attempt new things without fear of failure. The Arts also are a valuable tool for reaching those who are underserved, such as special needs and at-risk children.

Art education programs can be used to:
• Enhance or expand curriculum
• Communicate knowledge of art forms
• Involve children in the process of creating art
• Provide new experiences

The benefits of arts education do not end at graduation. Our outreach begins in the schools and extends outward, to engage families and the community in arts-based programs that encourage lifelong learning, improve health and well-being, and enhance quality of life. Project Impact Arts In Education is committed to serving New Jersey and the surrounding area with quality programs presented by professional artists that instruct, entertain, inspire and foster an understanding and appreciation of the Arts.
