Project Impact Arts in Education offers a wide variety of assembly programs that teach, inspire and entertain. The average size of an assembly audience is 300, making it an excellent means of providing an entertaining, learning experience for a large group of students. Our assembly programs are appropriate for a variety of grade levels.
Assemblies cover many subjects and art forms. Select programs that:
• Enhance history and civic lessons
• Encourage budding scientists & increase awareness of
• Help develop a love of music, movement and dance
• Introduce different cultures and traditions
• Initiate new thoughts and ideas
• Promote an interest in reading
• Cultivate positive character traits and choices
• Discourage unacceptable behavior
In addition to the educational benefits of assemblies, they offer an excellent opportunity to introduce students to proper “theatre manners” and the importance of being a good audience. Emphasizing that students should remain quiet and give their full attention to a program, not interrupt the performers or be disruptive, and show their appreciation of the performers in an appropriate manner, teaches respect for the artist and for the other audience members. It also assures that the program will be an enjoyable learning experience for all.
A number of our assemblies are available for presentation in a format suitable for adult audiences. With content and approach geared to the lifelong learner instead of children, these programs are entertaining and informative. Perfect for libraries, assisted living facilities, women’s clubs, senior centers and corporate events.
