Crazy Chemistry

Look all around – everything you see can be broken down into molecules.

Molecules combine in different densities to create liquids, solids, and gasses.  Watch Out – things can change before your very eyes!!

Liquids disappear then reappear as solids only moments later; a balloon inflates all by itself using ingredients found in everyday life; and plain water becomes every color of the rainbow before mysteriously clearing up. The audience will also be amazed at the powers of magnetism.  What students learn will literally make their hair stand on end!

Lisa Lou uses circus skills and magic to astound and amaze you in this delightful and informative study of the world around us. Students participate and assist with various demonstrations as Lisa demystifies science through theater.

The program concludes with a special interpretive dance incorporating sign language. Student interaction is an integral part of the program.
