|Yoga In The Classroom|
The benefits of yoga – physical, mental and emotional – will be explored and teachers will be provided with fun-filled ideas to use with students of all ages.
Certified Children’s Yoga Instructor, Jennifer DePaul, will instruct on how to use props, music, art, games, storytelling and animated poses to help stretch and strengthen children’s bodies and imaginations.
Child-friendly yoga poses, breathing and relaxation exercises and visualization techniques will be demonstrated and explained. Yoga is a wonderful tool for pre- and post-testing focus or stress, and as a calming, mind-opening tool for academic work in general.
Jennifer also has extensive experience working with special needs students and their teachers.
