Workshops - Descriptions

Cartooning & Caricature

From the tilt of an eyebrow to a dimpled cheek, the cartoonist’s perspective is unveiled. Cartoon characters are developed from initial shapes to final details.

Through caricatures, artist Steve Nyman will guide students toward insightful observation and selection of specific characteristics of their subjects, be they members of their class or the world around them.

This workshop encourages greater perception of details.
