Super Science Workshop

Feathers, bubbles, balloons, cups, plates, chairs, and eggs all serve to provide a magical introduction to science

Using circus skills and magic tricks, the program, with artist Lisa Lewis, explores the physical phenomena that result in scientific experiences

Designed to stimulate inquiring minds and to encourage critical thinking, students learn that science is not only amazing but also “kid-friendly” as they participate in the scientific process.

The Speech Doctor Is In!

Do your students need to speak more clearly and expressively?
Then your class would benefit from a house call from The Speech Doctor! Kathleen Williams, PhD, will diagnose “Speech Sicknesses” that prevent children from reaching their full potential.

Using humor and encouragement, The Speech Doctor teaches students communication skills that will help them grow up to be confident speakers. They will learn to reduce mumbling, speak at an appropriate volume, avoid a monotone voice and look at an audience when speaking.

Relaxation and confidence building techniques are also presented in this entertaining, interactive, hands-on workshop. This program is successful as a single workshop, residency or to supplement and reinforce ideas presented in The Speech Doctor is In! assembly.
