Poet Laura Boss introduces students to a creative process to develop poems, elements of contemporary form and the concept of the image.

The depth of this program is dependent on whether this is conducted as a single-session workshop or a series of three classes.

Political Cartooning

A creative outlet for the expression of social or political views, Political Cartooning has made its mark in history by raising concerns, spurring debate, fostering change, and even swaying public opinion.

In the 1870s, corrupt NY politician William M. “ Boss” Tweed, went so far as to blame Thomas Nast’s cartoons for his downfall.
